Aquin, Haiti to become Delray Sister City

Delray Beach is establishing a partnership with Aquin, Haiti through the Sister Cities International program starting Tuesday.
The signing will occur at City Hall during the commission meeting at 6 P.M. and will solidify the mutual relations between the two cities. Mayor Sauvilorme Mathurin will be representing Aquin at the agreement signing alongside Edouard Valmé, General Director of the Ministry of Haitian Living Abroad, and Dr. Aldy Castor, President of Haitian Resource Development Foundation.
Aquin is a coastal city located in the southern region of Haiti, and it becomes the fourth sister city of Delray Beach, alongside Miyazu, Japan; Moshi, Tanzania; and Pesaro, Italy.
