Top-100 teacher to lead golf instruction for hotel guests & club members
BOCA RATON, FL – Boca Raton Resort & Club, A Waldorf Astoria Resort, announces Master PGA Professional Kellie Stenzel has taken over golf instruction for its hotel guests and club members. Rated continuously as a Top-50 Teacher by Golf for Women and a Top-100 Teacher in the nation by Golf Magazine, Stenzel has over 22 years of experience teaching the game. In addition, she played golf professionally for several years on tours around the world including the Futures Tour, European Tour, Asian Tour, South African Tour and Australian Tour. Working closely with Jimmy Gascoigne, head professional, and Geoff Carey, director of club operations, Stenzel offers a variety of instructional services for hotel guests and club members ranging from private lessons to golf schools. The resort also has plans to develop a junior program and first-time player program. Other renowned professionals who’ve taught at Boca Raton Resort include Sam Snead and Tommy Armour. Boca Raton Resort has two renowned 18-hole championship golf courses, including the signature Par-71 Resort Course. A “Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary” which ensures the course preserves and enhances wildlife habitat and protects natural resources, the Resort Course is known for its distinctive water feature designed by Hugh Hughes. The Country Club Course is a Par-72 and features a signature 18-hole island green. A renowned expert on golf instruction, Kellie Stenzel has published three women’s golf books: “The Women’s Guide to Golf: A Handbook for Beginners,” “The Women’s Guide to Consistent Golf,” and “The Women’s Guide to Lower Scores,” in addition to being a contributing writer for Golf For Women and WorldGolf.com. Raised in New York, she comes from a long line of golfers with her grandfather a PGA professional and her father having played in some PGA tour events. Kellie herself is a proud member of the LPGA.
