City of Delray Beach Launches Mobile Website for Education

The City of Delray Beach has launched a mobile website dedicated to the City’s Campaign for Grade Level Reading initiative. This website was developed to promote the City’s reading program at the recent National League of Cities Annual Conference in Boston and provides paper-free information in support of our City’s green initiatives. The mobile website holds many useful files including our “Community Solutions Action Plan” that defines the challenges, goals and strategies that we wish to implement as part of the Campaign for Grade Level Reading over the next 8 years to:

  • Ensure children arrive in kindergarten prepared to succeed.
  • Improve attendance levels.
  • Increase educational opportunities during the summer months.

The site also contains important Campaign information including videos, educational reports, slide shows and photo images which portrays the City’s journey on its Campaign for Grade Level Reading. The mobile website is updated frequently to promote our progress and success with the Campaign and we encourage citizens to visit this site on a regular basis.
