Delray Beach Center for the Arts Announces Free Friday Concerts at The Pavilion


DELRAY BEACH, FL –Delray Beach Center for the Arts announces the 2012/13 Friday Free Concerts at The Pavilion, October 12th through January 25th. This year the concert schedule has been expanded to 16 consecutive concerts, with something for everyone… it’s “music for the masses.” All concerts start at 7:30 p.m.; rain or shine; free admission. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs, and bring the family… but no pets or outside food/beverage. Food trucks and cash bar available. The Pavilion is at Old School Square, 51 N. Launch Party & Opening Concert Friday, October 12 Discover or rediscover Delray’s center for the arts as they unveil their new name and new look. The Crest Theatre, Cornell Museum and Vintage Gymnasium will all be open with entertainment, information and refreshments starting at 5:30 p.m. A ribbon cutting, 7:15 at The Pavilion, will be followed by an outdoor concert with Across the Universe, the Ultimate Beatles Tribute band, starting at 7:30 p.m. The entire evening is free and open to the public.
