The Delray Beach International Tennis Championships’ (ITC) unique promotional squad – The VolleyGirls – has appointed Justine Rodolico as Captain and Choreographer for its 2013 team, as announced by Marlena Hall, ITC Director of Sports Marketing and VolleyGirls Coordinator. Rodolico has been a member of the VolleyGirls since 2011, and has over two decades of dance experience. With a background of performing throughout South Florida, she is a highly-skilled and well- respected dancer, teacher and choreographer. “We are thrilled to welcome Justine Rodolico as our new choreographer and captain for the VolleyGirls,” said Hall. “She has already proven herself as a leader on the team with her experience over the past two years. Rodolico has been training at private dance studios all over South Florida for the last 21 years. She is trained in, and has taught, ballet, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, modern, and acrobatics.” Rodolico attended J.P Taravella High School in Coral Springs, where she served as dance team captain. Studying under the direction of former VolleyGirls choreographer, Amy Williams, she quickly became an exploratory dance teacher. In April 2010, she graduated from Florida International University earning her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Dance with a focus in professional and educational studies. Rodolico has choreographed and performed in numerous FIU dance showcases and was a principal dancer for local contemporary company, MusInc, in 2008. She currently serves as the assistant artistic director of Xpress Yourself Dance Studio in Coral Springs. In addition, she dances and models for Eye on Events, and choreographs with contemporary company “The Movement Project” under the direction of Diana Hoffmaster. The Movement Project completed their first performance at the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in May 2011.
