Delray Beach Library announces 3 new board members


The Delray Beach Public Library’s Board President, Nancy Dockerty, recently announced that three prominent community members have joined the library’s board of directors: • Kim Beckett – Community leader Kim Beckett is currently the sales manager of Guild Mortgage Company, which will open its first South Florida branch in 2015. Her expertise is in Human Resources, Sales and Training, and for over 11 years, she was the vice president of Sun Trust Bank. “Libraries are a magical place for children and they were a big part of my life growing up. I am honored to serve on the board of the Delray Beach Public Library because the library provides key programs for the community that encourage lifelong learning,” said Ms. Beckett. • Justin Cidoni – With more than 10 years of experience in the banking industry, Justin Cidoni joined Iberia Bank in 2010 as assistant vice president and is responsible for business development, sales management and client satisfaction. He is an active community leader and volunteer. “The Delray Beach Public Library is more than just a place to check out books. It is a cultural center for all ages to enjoy on their quest for knowledge. I am excited to take part in ensuring its longevity,” said Mr. Cidon • William Morse – An active and involved community member, William Morse is the former owner of Accounting & Tax Services of Delray Beach. He specializes in small business accounting, income tax planning, trusts and individual tax returns, payroll preparation and payroll tax reporting and his company has merged with Hirsch & Company CPAs. “I am happy to serve on the Delray Beach Public Library Board of Directors because I believe in children and education. I believe that the library provides children with easy access to learning through books as well as providing a quiet and safe place to learn,” said Mr. Morris.
