The buzz is that the Buzz Agency is growing.
Delray Beach-based public relations firm The Buzz Agency has announced that it has acquired Palm Beach-based Tradewinds Media Partners.
The Buzz Agency will expand with a second location at 101 Bradley Place on Palm Beach Island.
To manage the new Palm Beach location, The Buzz Agency has hired PR veteran Enid Atwater, who joins the firm as vice president of public relations. Atwater brings more than 25 years of experience to her position, including serving for 10 years as the vice president of corporate communications for the Palm Beach County Convention & Visitors Bureau (since rebranded Discover The Palm Beaches.) A fifth generation Floridian, Atwater grew up in North Palm Beach, resides in West Palm Beach and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
“This is such an exciting time for our firm,” said Julie Mullen, Co-Founder and Partner of The Buzz Agency. “We knew we wanted to grow, but doing so organically takes a great deal of time. The opportunity to acquire an existing firm with high profile clients and a stellar reputation was clearly the ideal way to efficiently and quickly expand our business.”
Tradewinds Media Partners’ owner, Lilly Leas, will remain of counsel with The Buzz Agency during the transition. Tradewinds clients that The Buzz Agency will absorb include: Palm Healthcare Foundation, YMCA of the Palm Beaches, Hospice Foundation of Palm Beach County, Craft Bar Kitchen, 3 Natives, Strong Boalt, and McMow Art Glass, among others.
Along with working as a consultant to The Buzz Agency, Leas has accepted a full scholarship to attend University of Florida’s Hough Graduate School of Business to pursue her master’s degree in business administration.
