Staff report
Divine Savior Academy will open its second location for the 2017-2018 school year.
The Doral-based school has closed on land for its new campus located at 15935 Lyons Road.
The new building will include a preschool, elementary school and church. The school sits on 10 acres and will be a 41,600-square-foot building with a library-media center, auditorium, performance stage, indoor play area, and two large art installations, as well as a playground and recreational fields.
The Doral campus has more than 800 students. It has been opened since 2004 and is part of the one the largest school systems.
“We are excited to serve the families of Delray Beach with private education. We focus on giving students college-prep academics in a Christian environment. Our curriculum is both individualized, developmentally appropriate, and taught with small student-to-teacher ratios,” Tim Biesterfeld, DSA’s Head of Schools said in a statement.
