Don’t miss these authors at the library


The downtown Delray Beach Public Library, 100 West Atlantic Avenue, welcomes a variety of authors during the year and this October will be no exception. Make plans to attend the following free programs to hear the following authors speak on these unusual and different subjects: • Paulette Cooper Noble – Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 2 p.m. – Award-winning speaker and author Paulette Cooper Noble has written a new book entitled, Was Elvis Jewish? Fascinating Facts & Amazing Anecdotes Your Rabbi Never Told You. You will hear dozens of fascinating stories, facts and jokes pertaining to Judaism and Jewish people. Learn stories of surprising people whose families were Jewish (e.g., Elvis and Secretary of State John Kerry), unexpected friends of the Jews and Israel, and people you didn’t know were Jewish or enjoy this program! Books will be available for purchase and autographing. • Earl Stewart – Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 2 p.m. – Join first-time author and one of themost successful car dealers in the nation, Earl Stewart, for his program entitled, “Confessions of a Recovering Car Dealer.” The book reveals all the secrets of the automotive sales and service business and will give you the benefit of his 40+ years as a car dealer to help you successfully negotiate for your next car. Now retired, Mr. Stewart has become a champion for customers’ rights. Books will be available for purchase and autographing and 100 percent of the proceeds from this program will be donated to charity. Reservations are not required.
