Duncan Conference Center to Hold Monthly Walks on Their Grounds

348

Duncan Conference Center is holding monthly guided labyrinth walks on their grounds. All are welcome. The theme for this month’s walk will be “Different Modes of Walking.” The labyrinth is an ancient tool for spiritual self-discovery. It invites us to travel inward and then outward, to open ourselves to new possibilities. Walking the winding path of the labyrinth can serve as a metaphor for one’s spiritual journey. It can become a mirror for where we are in our lives. The labyrinth was built in 1995 and patterned after the famous labyrinth at Notre Dame Cathedral in Chartres, France. Walk will be guided by Linda Hurley, a Veriditas trained certified labyrinth facilitator. Monday, January 21 , 2013 6:30 p.m. Schofield Chapel Duncan Conference Center 15820 S.
