The 2014 Beth Daniel Golf Clinic will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014, 11:00 am, at the Delray Beach Golf Club (DBGC), 2200 Highland Avenue. The clinic will feature a “Fantastic Foursome” of women professionals including World Golf Hall of Fame member Beth Daniel, 2013 Solheim Captain Meg Mallon, 2014 LPGA Q School winner Jaye Marie Green and 2013 Big Break star Stefanie Kenoyer. The clinic is free and open to the public. For 23 years, Daniel has assembled professional friends and colleagues to present this clinic in cooperation with JCD Sports Group, Inc., managers of the City’s DBGC Municipal course. Coordinating this event is Sandra Eriksson, former director of golf and current seasonal LPGA teaching professional at DBGC. “This is arguably one of the absolute best combinations of players we’ve ever had at this event,” comments Eriksson. The event will be mc’d by Annette Thompson, BallenIsles Country Club LPGA Master Teaching Professional. The “Fantastic Foursome” are South Florida residents and their respective professional careers range from Daniel’s “Rookie of the Year” title in 1979 to Green’s record setting 29 under par score at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament this past December. All four have experience as USGA Women’s Open participants and Mallon owns the 2004 U.S. Women’s Open title. Bleacher seating is limited so arrive early. For more information, contact Sandra Eriksson at (561) 704-6964 or call DBGC at (561) 243-7380. Note: During the event, donations will be accepted with proceeds benefiting Breast Cancer Research.
