FEC Railroad Crossing Closures in Delray Beach – May 2013

The Florida East Coast Railway (FEC) has begun to make track repairs to their crossings throughout the City and has advised that the following closings will occur over the next two (2) weeks. Detour signage has been (will be) posted. Please drive with caution and plan your trip accordingly. NE 2nd STREET (PINEAPPLE GROVE) Closing will occur from Tuesday, APRIL 30TH to Thursday, MAY 2ND The FEC Railway crossing at NE 2nd Street in Pineapple Grove will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic beginning at 6:00 am on Tuesday, April 30th, for track repairs. The FEC is expected to reopen the crossing by 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 2nd. Detour signage will be posted to assist motorists with alternate routes (to view the detour map, click here). SE 2nd STREET (OSCEOLA PARK) Closing will occur from Sunday, MAY 5TH to Tuesday, MAY 7TH The FEC Railway crossing at SE 2nd Street in Osceola Park will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic beginning at 6:00 am on Sunday, May 5th, for track repairs. The FEC is expected to reopen the crossing by 6:00 pm on Tuesday, May 7th. Detour signage will be posted to assist motorists with alternate routes (to view the detour map, click here). LINTON BOULEVARD Closing will occur from Tuesday, MAY 7TH to Thursday, MAY 9TH The FEC Railway crossing at Linton Boulevard and Dixie Highway will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic beginning at 6:00 am on Tuesday, May 7th. The FEC is expected to reopen the crossing by 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 9th. Detour signage will be posted to assist motorists with alternate routes via SW 10th Avenue, SW 10th Street and Old Dixie Highway (to view the detour map, click here). Please Note: Linton Boulevard is a Palm Beach County road and the FEC will complete all work associated with this project. LINDELL BOULEVARD Closing will occur from Tuesday, MAY 14TH to Thursday, MAY 16TH The FEC Railway crossing at Lindell Boulevard and Dixie Highway will be closed to vehicular and pedestrian traffic beginning at 6:00 am on Tuesday, May 14th, for track repairs. The FEC is expected to reopen the crossing by 6:00 pm on Thursday, May 16th. Detour signage will be posted to assist motorists with alternate routes (to view the detour map, click here).
