Financial Literacy = Smart Money Habits

April was Financial Literacy Month. Colleen Hasey Schuhmann, Financial Advisor with UBS Financial Services in Boca Raton, spoke to the 4th through 8th grade students at St. Vincent Ferrer School, for the 4th consecutive year, to teach them about smart money habits such as setting financial goals, ways to properly use credit cards, and how to use a budget. Children are never too young to learn good habits with their money. Schuhmann, whose children attend the school, is passionate about teaching financial literacy to the next generation. She is shown here with her son Matthew after speaking to his 4th grade class at St. Vincent School in Delray Beach about smart money habits.
