Staff report

Just hours after Delray Chamber CEO and President Jeb Conrad resigned from the job, the chamber board announced its new interim CEO.

Stephanie Immelman will be the chamber’s leader while the board conducts a search for a permanent chief executive.

Conrad was in the role for about one year. Under his tenure, the chamber introduced its 1909 Business Accelerator program and acquired the Delray Morning Live Facebook morning talk show.

Immelman is familiar with the Delray chamber. When she was executive director of the Delray Beach Marketing Cooperative, her offices were located inside the chamber.

She has worked with the chamber’s board, employees and members closely throughout the years. She also has worked for Fortune 500 companies such as Continental Airlines, AT&T and Global Crossing both in the United States and in Europe.

“I’m happy to step in to help out my former colleagues at the Chamber, ” Stephanie Immelman of Immelman Consulting said. “I know the town, the team and the Board. My priority is to focus on communications – with the Chamber Membership, with the City and with the Community.”
