The Delray Beach Public Library announced “Girls, Pearls, Hats & Heels,” a very special Centennial event to take place on Wednesday, October 10, 2012 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Delray Dunes County Club. This fun-filled, afternoon of shopping the latest fashions in shoes and accessories from top local designers, is taking place in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month and is being co-sponsored by the Delray Beach Public Library, the Bethesda Hospital Foundation, Saks Fifth Avenue and an important new sponsor Powderblu Salon & Spa. Powderblu Salon & Spa, a full service salon in Delray Beach is a very special place. The salon owner has lost many loved ones to cancer and has developed Powderblu Salon’s “Blue Angel” services for women who have experienced cancer in one form or another. They offer a unique environment with personal, loving attention that is geared towards helping amazing women feel beautiful once again.
The day will feature lunch and complimentary bubbly will be flowing. The ticket price is just $40 with proceeds to benefit the Delray Beach Public Library and the Bethesda Hospital Foundation’s educational programs.
