The City of Delray Beach announced that the reconstruction of the Mangrove Park boat ramps, located at 1211 South Federal Highway, has been completed. The reconstruction project corrected the severe slope of the boat ramps, which made it difficult for boaters to launch and retrieve their vessels safely. The redesign of the boat ramps included removal of the old boat ramps and floating dock and regrading the ramps to maintain a reduced slope. These improvements are expected to result in increased boat ramp usage while making it easier to launch and retrieve vessels. Total funding for this project was $188,240, which was funded with grant awards from the (FWC) ($102,500) and the Florida Inland Navigation District (FIND) ($85,740).
