Delray Beach – The annual silent auction for the Artists’ Guild in Delray Beach on Saturday, December 15, 2012 celebrates the work of their signature members, while raising funds to maintain an appealing venue in which to display outstanding artwork all year round. The exhibition center, The Artists Guild Gallery, located at 512 E. Atlantic Avenue, displays original fine art in many mediums, as well as archival prints and holiday ornaments. The public is invited to meet the artists, enjoy light refreshments, and view and bid on artworks from 6 – 8 p.m. that evening. The highest bidders can claim their selections between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. where the art will be wrapped and ready to hang or mount in one’s home, office, or as a gift item.

Fine art is a gift that grows in value while giving enjoyment in the present. This fundraiser presents professional quality artwork by the artists who sponsor the Artists’ Guild Gallery. Portions of the proceeds go to them and to assist the gallery with expenses. In time for the holidays, a variety of styles will excite art lovers such with landscapes, seascapes, abstracts, sculptures, and photography that appeal to a variety of tastes.
The Artists’ Guild has been an integral arm of the Boca Raton Museum of Art for over 60 years. The exhibition center is home for Guild artists of exemplary skills to display and sell their work at reasonable pricing. Membership provides them with many juried opportunities in other sanctioned venues as well in Palm Beach and Broward counties. The Boca Raton Museum of Art – The Artists’ Guild, an auxiliary of the not-for-profit museum, hosts exhibits every five weeks with original fine art from juried signature level artists.
