The Blueprint Gallery Helps Enrich Lives of Local Children

DELRAY BEACH, FL – The nonprofit cultural arts and education-based Milagro Center, 695 Auburn Ave. in Delray Beach, kicked off its 2015-2016 season at The Blueprint Gallery at Milagro Center with a new exhibit and reception on Aug. 28. The ART IN MOTION Exhibit Opening Reception was an interactive experience with visual and performing arts, a live installation performance and dynamic drumming taking place against the backdrop of the “ART IN MOTION” works on display in the gallery. The exhibit, on display through Oct. 2, 2015, shows off the talents of local, emerging and established artists including Deb Yager, Jason “JaFleu” Fleurant, Kenneth Ashton Henry, Rocco Grasso and Patrick Lanham. This visual and performing arts event was also an opportunity for Milagro Center’s supporters and friends of the organization to experience the same joy and creativity the center provides daily to the 80 children and teens it serves in its after school and summer camp programs. The Blueprint Gallery at Milagro Center is furthering the organization’s mission to enrich the lives of undervalued children through continual exposure to cultural arts. It is Milagro’s intention to work with emerging and established artists in the community and provide an avenue to showcase their work, while also supporting Milagro Center. Exhibiting artists will donate a minimum of 25 percent of art sales to Milagro Center and will be invited to speak with Milagro Center’s STARS (children in grades K-5) and teens in middle and high school about their career as an artist as well as to lead an artist workshop. “Our beautiful Blueprint Gallery is an exciting venue that further integrates art into our Delray Beach community and provides local artists with a new opportunity to exhibit, promote and sell their art,” states Barbara Stark, Milagro Center president and CEO. “As an additional bonus, Milagro Center students will participate in high-quality art classes and workshops taught by these exhibiting artists that will inspire these children, while providing fun and educational art experiences. We welcome the community at large to enjoy the fine ensemble of our artists’ paintings and sculptures. The experience is sure to touch your heart.” For more information, visit
