The Max Group Acquires Control of Max’s Harvest


Dennis Max and Fred Stampone, partners in The Max Group, announced they have acquired control of Max’s Harvest through a purchase of the ownership interest held by its original investor. The Max Group has been the managing partner of the award-winning Delray Beach restaurant since its inception in 2011. Patrick Broadhead, Executive Chef and Partner in The Max Group, continues to oversee the culinary direction of Max’s Harvest as he mentors Chef James Kampper and General Manager, Peter Stampone. The restaurant has received numerous accolades, including Best Restaurant in Palm Beach County in 2012 by the New Times Broward/Palm Beach. Max’s Harvest continues to expand its network of local farmers who produce the highest-quality, sustainable ingredients for the eatery’s farm-to-fork cuisine. Underscoring the success of Max’s Harvest, Max and Stampone are actively seeking to expand the brand to new locations in Florida and other East Coast markets. In addition, they announced progress in their plans to move forward with their new concept, Max’s Fresh, which they describe as a “premium fast casual evolution of Max’s Harvest.” Plans to open three to five Max’s Fresh locations in key trade areas in the eastern U.S. beginning in 2014 are progressing. The fast casual concept will promote affordable, high-quality culinary offerings utilizing locally-sourced and naturally-grown ingredients.
