Delray Beach, Florida – December 27, 2012 –Atlantic Avenue’s only rooftop dining experience, Buddha Sky Bar, is now offering guests a new view from the first floor. The long awaited debut of Buddha Sky Bar’s ambitious expansion is here and South Florida locals and visitors are flocking to the now three-story, 10,000 square foot Asian Fusion eatery set to a backdrop of breathtaking architectural design and exquisite décor. The new first floor, aptly titled “Buddha Garden,” allows the restaurant to serve more Buddha fans than ever.
“After months of planning, we are so thrilled to be open and able to share Buddha Garden with our guests,” said owner, Christopher Licata. “We wanted to enhance the experience, give our fans something new and the response so far as been amazing”Ft. Lauderdale-based PDT International designed the unique setting for Buddha Garden and the space includes a new sushi and sake bar, cherry tree, waterfall and living walls. Buddha Garden also offers both an indoor and an outdoor bar, including one that opens to Atlantic Avenue.
Guests can expect more of a late night lounge feel on weekends and local favorite, DJ Crunch Time, has been DJ; spinning for crowds on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Buddha Garden will also offer late night sushi to hungry diners until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays. In addition to the 96 seats that the intimate third floor currently holds, Buddha Sky Bar’s second floor has been upgraded as well to include private space, hosting 110 people in total and customizable conference rooms available with direct access to multimedia, leaving the space open to corporate or holiday events from groups of 8 to 60. Buddha Sky Bar prides itself on providing an exceptional experience for parties of any size and is looking forward to becoming a go to venue for special events.
Buddha Garden seats 120 guests and offers a completely different atmosphere than Buddha Sky Bar, while serving the same cuisine that earned them Open Table Diners’ Choice Awards for Top Asian Restaurant in Southeast Florida and Palm Beach County Hot Spot. “It’s the same great experience and food, but in a larger space that can accommodate more guests and a breathtaking new esthetic,” says General manager, Damian Burke.
