Valentine’s Day Dining Options in Delray Beach


Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and The Office in Delray Beach, and Vic & Angelo’s in both Delray Beach and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida — three extraordinarily popular restaurants owned by dynamic South Florida restaurateur and entrepreneur John Rosatti — are offering a wonderful array of dining options to ensure that this holiday will be extraordinarily memorable. Some of the noteworthy appetizers include yellow fin tuna crudo; shrimp scampi toast; baked clams al forno; burrata with prosciutto, arugula, roasted red peppers, and a Balsamic reduction; and Old School Kobe Meatball with San Marzano Tomato Sauce, whipped ricotta, peppers, and fresh basil. Diners can choose from three appealing appetizers (lobster salad with roasted beets, spiced hazelnuts, and vanilla Champagne sauce; roasted beet tartare with Chianti vinegar and ricotta salata; or charred octopus, with potato salad, cipollini, and spicy sopressata vinaigrette); three enticing entrees (goat cheese tortelloni with dried orange and wild fennel pollen; a whole grilled Branzino with braised baby fennel and lemon oregano jam; an 18 oz. grilled Kobe beef rib eye with roasted potatoes, garlic, rosemary, and aceto Manodori; or a wild striped bass with leek puree, crispy Brussels sprouts, and Umbrian lentils); and three decadent desserts (a strawberry-chocolate meringue torte; a flourless hazelnut and bitter sweet chocolate cake, served with salted caramel ice cream and caramel sauce; or vanilla cheese cake covered with chocolate curls and fresh berries). Mouthwatering Valentine’s Day a la carte specials, that will be offered, include Petite Osso Bucco with mirepoix, grilled polenta, and a Barolo demi-glace; jumbo stone crabs with honey mustard crab sauce; Seafood Ravioli Thermidor, stuffed with fin fish, lobster meat, sun-dried tomatoes, and peas, in a Cognac cream sauce; Surf & Turf, featuring a broiled Maine lobster tail and a filet mignon, served with broccoli di rabe, rosemary-roasted potatoes, and a Barolo demi-glace; Filet Oscar, a filet mignon with jumbo lump crab meat, asparagus, truffle mashed potatoes, and Hollandaise sauce; and a yummy dessert of zabaione with mixed berries and biscotti.
