Welcome To “The Pineapple”

376
You’re holding Delray Beach’s new com- munity newspaper, dedicated to covering the happenings and “have-you-heard’s of downtown Delray Beach, from our oceanfront to Interstate 95. In each monthly issue you’ll read about upcoming events, emerging artists and musicians, new business developments, educational and recreational opportunities and any- thing else that impacts our Village by the Sea. The Pineapple will be available free of charge at over 100 distribution points, includ- ing coffee shops, restaurants, newsstands, hotels, salons, City Hall, the public library, and the Chamber of Commerce. Our core development team consists of Publisher Jeffrey Diaz, Community Relations Director Gene Fisher, and Marketing Director Ryan Boylston. We chose the name “Pineapple” in tribute to Delray’s history as a major pineapple growing area, and because the sweet fruit is a universal symbol of friend- ship and warm welcome.
In this spirit of hospitality, we invite you to share your news and story ideas. Give us a call at 561-299-1430 or email info@delrayp- ineapple.com For advertising information, call Ryan at 954-415-1895. We hope you enjoy our first issue. Thanks for reading!
